Please don’t forget Minti.com which launched over a year ago as a niche parenting community “advice-opedia”
We were one of the first niche web 2.0 sites to launch (refer TechCrunch write-up): http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/03/09/minti-niche-web-20-stuff-is-coming/

You should add this site to the music list. http://www.epitunes.com Great way to discover shows and listen to the bands beforehand.

Hi,
With respect to the article and the list of social networking websites, I have an interesting one for you. It’s rather new and more focused on Europe. I was told that within a few months, it will roll-out with different (European) languages. Now it is just in English.
The website is: http://www.10tune.com
It works with taste (music, books and movies). Kinda cool.
